Bajusz

Bajusz is a citrus selection of unknown parentage. Skandiberg describes it as Poncirus-like and suggests a possible citrange origin, which has not been confirmed.^[1]

Skandiberg reported 13 °Bx with an orange hint, very sour juice and no resin detected in the juice. A later report recorded 12.5 °Bx after storage, when the juice had become mealy with a faint piney aroma. These are separate dated reports; whether the same batch was involved is unknown.^[1]

Bajusz has been used as a pollen donor in reported Yuzu N30, Cara Cara and Iwasaki pollinations. Candidate seedlings were described, but hybrid identity and paternity remain unconfirmed.^[1]
