The Clement tangelo section says grapefruit crosses using Clementine as pollen parent produced a diverse group whose fruits were inclined to be loose-skinned and rather puffy; it identifies Clement tangelo as a selected member. This is an offspring-group description, not a trait claim for Algerian Clementine.
