Kumin noticed Conestoga A-026 fruit beginning to break color as autumn started. He hoped the fruit would reach solid orange by ripening; the color at this point is not a ripe-fruit observation. He described the fruit as a little larger than Poncirus, perhaps more globose, with smooth rind. The caption identifies a previous year's immature A-026 fruit color.
