Conestoga 067 is described in Kumin’s reports from his outdoor F2 citrange trial in southeastern Pennsylvania. He says the trial seeds were planted on April 12, 2018, germinated in a heated bed, and the seedlings were field-transplanted outdoors in early June without winter protection. He identifies F1 C-35 citrange as the seed parent but says the pollen parent was not confirmed. These dates and parentage describe the trial seed lot, not an individual 067 germination or selection date.[11][12][13]For 067 specifically, Kumin called it the second-most citrus-like selection and reported survival with injury after a sustained 2-degree low in high winds; a later post clarified this as 2°F in the preceding December. In 2021 he noted minor leaf-color change and deciduousness. In 2024 he described mixed leaf types including monofoliate and compared its hardiness qualitatively with Bishop Citrandarin. These are grower observations, not controlled measurements or a general hardiness threshold.[5][6][14][8]
