Notes

A pink-fleshed grapefruit selection originating in Columbia, South Carolina, where it was grown and propagated by Dr. Robert Rodney Croxton. Unlike most grapefruits, it has demonstrated unusual cold hardiness, with reports of established trees surviving temperatures in the mid-teens °F (≈ −10 °C) without protection. The original tree was grown from seed, and the resulting fruit retains classic grapefruit flavor while often being described as nearly seedless.
