Named
McKenzie Farms & Nursery’s 2023 tour labels its tree “10° Tangerine Clem Yuzu 22” (read in this catalog as ClemYuz 2-2) and reports survival at 8°F in 2018 with damage. Nagle’s 1993 article and the Ichang handout had already identified ClemYuz 3-3 as Ten-Degree Tangerine; the 2014 Hardy Citrus post records confusion over whether the name also refers to 2-2. The date and path by which the name came to be used for 2-2 remain unknown.
Stan McKenzie is credited in the existing owner account with the modern use of the Ten Degree Tangerine name for ClemYuz 2-2. The 2023 tour supports the current 2-2 label, while Nagle documented the name for Clem-Yuz 3-3 in 1993; this credit does not establish first coining or a transfer path.

Needs review
The updated event is supported as a record of modern 2-2 label use, historical published use for ClemYuz 3-3 by 1993, and the naming ambiguity documented in 2014. The preserved Tough Citrus history-source note still records the earlier owner-confirmed claim that Stan McKenzie named the fruit after a 10°F freeze. The exposed catalog tools do not provide an operation to revise that source-note row; the old note is therefore retained but needs review against the earlier Nagle and Ichang publications. The current event and revised credit no longer claim first coining or a documented name-transfer path.
