Trimble account, printed pp. 238–240. The reprint states a Dancy tangerine × Parson Brown orange pollen cross produced at W. K. Trimble’s Braidentown grove; it also cautions that adventive-embryo origin could not be ruled out (p. 240). Under “Description from The Citrus Industry Vol. 1 (1967),” UCR says Trimble and Weshart are now regarded as nucellar seedlings of Dancy rather than new varieties. This is an attributed retrospective account, not a molecular test.
