Summary from transcript: The narrator displays CCPP shipment paperwork that includes US-1283 budwood and counts the received budwood. They intend to graft the material to existing rootstock and trial rows. The video does not establish the shipment receipt date, a completed graft, a rootstock pairing, plant performance, or fruit traits.

The index lists US-1283 parentage as Citrus reticulata ‘Ninkat’ × Poncirus trifoliata ‘Gotha Road’ and its USDA release date as 2014. The table does not report selection, field performance, release contributors, or other historical events.

Primary controlled graft study. US-1283 from a single source was tested with Bearss lemon and Valencia sweet-orange scions against compatible US-812 combinations. In the tested greenhouse source, both scions developed rootstock grooving and bark necrosis; Bearss symptoms were earlier/more prominent, Valencia later/milder. Six to fifteen plants per graft combination; 12-month vascular sampling and three biological RNA-seq replicates. The study does not establish compatibility with every scion or US-1283 source. PDF title page gives 20 June 2024; publisher landing page displays 19 June.

Primary one-page notice based on limited nursery propagation observations. Reports abnormal bud unions and/or unhealthy nursery growth for US-1283 with Star Ruby grapefruit, Bearss lemon, and Tango mandarin; reports normal early appearance for specified sweet-orange clones and long-term Hamlin 1-4-1 field trees. No sample counts or controlled comparison are supplied. Recommends caution and further study. The supplied Citrus Industry page now returns 404; this is the separately retrieved official source document.

Primary study with US-1283 rootstock seed-tree fruit and open-pollinated nursery progeny. Fruit/seed values are from four-year-old grafted rootstock seed trees at USDA A.H. Whitmore Foundation Farm, Leesburg, FL, collected Jan. 2019; authors note outcrossing likely in mixed planting. Seed sample: 294 planted in six replications. Table 3 fruit sample n is not specified for this cultivar. Table 4 reports emergence and visual seedling categories; Table 7's separate selected SSR comparison is n=24. These are not scion fruit quality traits or universal seed-clone rates.

Official USDA-ARS release document (three-page release plus tables addendum). Identifies the 1995 Ninkat × Gotha Road #6 cross at A.H. Whitmore Foundation Farm, Kim D. Bowman’s cross and field-testing roles, Greg McCollum’s fruit-quality evaluation role, and the trial designation BS95-V6-14. Describes replicated Hamlin scion trials in Florida flatwoods and ridge sites; Las-positive trees and similar US-1283/Swingle titers support tolerance-after-infection interpretation, not resistance. Signature/date line is not legible; retain release day/month only where a separate source supports it.
