The index lists US SuperSour 3 parentage as Citrus reticulata ‘Sunki’ × (Citrus grandis × Poncirus trifoliata) and its USDA release date as 2018. The table does not report selection, field performance, release contributors, or other historical events.

This shared USDA/ARS sheet gives US SuperSour 3's broad Sunki × US-802 parentage and states release on 2 November 2018. Its Valencia trial summary reports grafted sweet-orange scion yields; those are not intrinsic US SuperSour 3 fruit or yield results.

The 2026–2029 UF/IFAS guide summarizes US SuperSour 3 performance on east-coast flatwoods and reports higher yield than standard sour orange under tested conditions. This is extension synthesis, not a new trial; scion, site and management affect performance, and long-term data for new rootstocks are limited.

Primary USDA/ARS release document P.0074.18. It reports the 2006 Sunki × US-802 cross, 2007 seed planting, selection identifiers and cutting propagation results. Yield and fruit-quality observations concern Valencia scion grafted on SS3, not fruit intrinsic to the rootstock. The document’s signature date is unreadable; use the shared release sheet for the explicit 2018 release date.

Table 1 identifies SS3 parentage as Sunki × US-802 and release year 2018. The table gives US-802 as pummelo × trifoliate, and its footnote lists the USDA release year as 2007. The article says SS3 source trees had not yet fruited and seed uniformity was not assessed. Hamlin and Valencia trial results concern grafted scions, not SS3 fruit; the article gives SS2–SS5 only a collective 2000–2006 cross range, not an individual SS3 cross year.

The US SuperSour 3 description reports a diploid Sunki × US-802 hybrid. It says suitability for uniform apomictic seed propagation had not been evaluated and recommends cuttings or micropropagation. This is a 2020 source-specific assessment, not a universal statement about later propagation performance.
