C-32 Citrange

C-32 Citrange is an F1 hybrid of Ruby orange and trifoliate orange made at the UC Citrus Research Center in 1951. Cameron and Soost describe its 1986 release for rootstock trials.^⁠[2] UCR describes the accession as a vigorous seedling with trifoliolate leaves and consistently few seeds, which limits seed collection for propagation; it lists November–January ripening at Riverside.^⁠[1]

Cameron and Soost report heavy yields in a 1974 trial of 24 hybrid-citrus scions on C-32. In a Riverside Washington navel trial planted in 1971, they report satisfactory yields and fruit sizes on C-32 and Troyer, with 1984 C-32 scion-tree volume of 28.9 m³. These are rootstock-and-scion trial observations, not fruit measurements of C-32.^⁠[2]

Cameron and Soost summarize disease and pest assessments from separate C-32 rootstock studies. Their reports include greenhouse seedling screening for Phytophthora, field and greenhouse nematode studies, and a UC South Coast Field Station tristeza evaluation; each result is limited to its stated test and does not establish general immunity.^⁠[2]
