Conestoga 058 was one of the monofoliate original survivors Kumin identified from his Conestoga F2 seedling trial. He reported planting the trial seed on April 12, 2018, field-transplanting the cohort outdoors without cold protection in June, and using F1 C-35 as seed parent while the pollen parent remained unidentified.
