Chapter 4 entry “Frost Valencia (Frost Nucellar Valencia),” captured in the local Chapter 4 text. Hodgson reports that it was a nucellar seedling derived about 1915 by H. B. Frost at the Citrus Research Center, Riverside, and released in 1952. This is an attributed historical account; the passage does not name the releasing organization.
