Forum post 46667 by hev retrospectively says Ichang papeda budwood was introduced to SRA San Giuliano in 1987 and micrografted after quarantine. The post attributes mother-tree conformity to this vegetatively propagated material; it is an author's report, not a molecular identity test.

Posts 27584–27585 report variable seed and juice observations for fruit identified by the contributors as SRA 687: one contributor says it normally has seeds, sometimes many; another contrasts two fruits over two years, one small with aborted seeds and little/no juice, the other larger and juicy with about twenty large seeds. These are grower observations, not a controlled characterization.
