Citrus ID entry; synonyms Robidoux and Rubideaux are attributed to Cottin (2002). The Hodgson-derived origin and morphology text largely repeats the UCR Citrus Variety Collection account.

Reports one Minneola tangelo scion on a zygotic Rubidoux-derived rootstock as smaller than the nucellar Rubidoux mean; that one tree's yield/canopy-volume cropping efficiency was 20% above the nucellar mean. This is a progeny/rootstock observation, not performance of the selected Rubidoux clone.

Publisher-indexed abstract reports a qualitative high degree of resistance to Phytophthora root rot for Rubidoux trifoliate in an evaluation of 10 Poncirus strains and 6 trifoliate hybrids. Abstract only retrieved; no Rubidoux-specific count or numerical result.

Hall et al. report accession-specific Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) colonization tests on seedling populations. Table 1 includes Poncirus trifoliata CRC 838 ‘Rubidoux’ (August 2013 free-choice greenhouse test), and Table 5 includes CRC 838 in no-choice tests on whole seedling plants with mature leaves removed or retained. These are experimental oviposition observations, not orchard-level HLB-control evidence; test populations may include nucellar seedlings and half-sib families.

Fang and Roose, HortScience 34(2):334–335 (April 1999), DOI 10.21273/HORTSCI.34.2.334. Page 334 reports the named Rubidoux trifoliate-orange parent as CTV-resistant after six ELISA and two RT-PCR tests over two years. The paper describes Chandler × Rubidoux progeny and identifies Rubidoux as small-flowered. It gives no CRC 838, PI, or other accession number, so identity with the target accession is unconfirmed. This parent-cultivar test is not a rootstock-performance or field-immunity claim.
