Snow Dragon

Nurseries Caroliniana describes Snow Dragon as its variegated Flying Dragon selection and says it christened the name. The sources reviewed do not date the original selection or naming.^[2]

Nurseries describe variable green, white and cream leaf variegation, with white new growth on stems and leaves; Phoenix Perennials also describes a contorted, slower-growing form and suggests container or bonsai culture.^[1][2]

The JC Raulston Arboretum documents Snow Dragon accession 110753 as received in 2011, planted in 2012, and measured at 3 ft in 2017. This is one plant’s collection record, not a cultivar-wide size measurement.^[3]
