Cross Made
Retrospective accounts describe TaiTri as a Taiwanica-type citrus × Poncirus trifoliata hybrid. Hardy Citrus reproduces an account that Bill Chapman obtained seed from Dr. Soost at UC Riverside; a later grower also describes TaiTri as Taiwan lemon × trifoliate orange. These accounts do not establish the original cross date, location, or verified pollen donor.
