UFR-12 is a citrus rootstock listed in the UF/IFAS Indian River Marsh grapefruit trial as selection 16R2T21, with source-reported parentage Kona × Argentine. The report describes a replicated trial planted in March 2007 west of Vero Beach, Florida, using Marsh grapefruit scions.[1]
The report's interpretive summary names UFR-12 among the rootstocks with the highest cumulative Marsh grapefruit yield over the three reported crop years. This is a result for that graft combination and trial site. Trial data helped inform the release of UFR-7 through UFR-12, but the report does not give individual release dates.[1]
