Weshart Tangerine — pollen parent: Parson Brown Sweet Orange
Historical reported-cross record, not a verified genetic parentage result. Webber’s 1905 account (source #3, printed pp. 83–84) identifies Weshart among seedlings from Dancy tangerine as seed parent × Parson Brown sweet orange as pollen parent. UCR’s CRC3026 account (source #1) later says Weshart is regarded as a nucellar Dancy seedling. These accounts conflict; the existing tree is retained as the earlier reported cross, not established cultivar parentage.
