Hev’s retrospective account says seeds later catalogued as SRA240 and SRA241 were introduced to SRA San Giuliano in 1987. The individual seed parents and pollen source are not identified.[1]
In post #1842, alias describes SRA240 as white-flowering and prolific. In a separate 2010 post, clems reports a general minimum of −16°C during several days of freezing weather without a thaw; an SRA240 plant beside a wall reportedly did not experience below about −12 to −13°C, and one young shoot was burned without added protection. These are attributed individual reports and do not establish cultivar-wide flowering or hardiness traits.[2]
