Walters Grapefruit

Walters is a white-fleshed, seedy, midseason grapefruit reported to have originated as a seedling near Belleview, Marion County, Florida, in 1887. The 2004 historical review identifies it as a Duncan seedling.^⁠[2]⁠[1]

Its main historical importance is as the source of Foster, a pink-pigmented bud sport discovered in 1907. The 2020 review describes Walters as having little commercial importance.^{⁠[1]⁠[2]⁠[3]}
