Notes

A modern hybrid citrus rootstock developed by the USDA that combines mandarin compatibility and vigor with poncirus-derived disease resistance and cold tolerance. It has become one of the most widely adopted rootstocks in new plantings, particularly in regions facing HLB (citrus greening) pressure. The major positive attributes of this new rootstock are ease of seed propagation, resistance or tolerance to citrus tristeza virus, citrus blight, and Phytophthora root diseases, as well as a semi-dwarfing effect on scion tree size, induction of good fruit quality, and induction of good fruit productivity per tree and per canopy volume. Released in 2010.
